JETOUR began the third season of Wonder For JETOUR with four internationally recognised nature photographers travelling across South America. Glaciers, volcanoes, rainforest and canyon routes gave the T1 a varied real-world proving ground.
Power confidence above 4,000 metres
At Peru’s Punta Olímpica Tunnel, thin air and steep mountain roads tested both power delivery and stability. The T1’s 2.0T turbocharged engine and BorgWarner torque-management four-wheel-drive system helped maintain controlled progress at altitude.

Rainforest and volcanic terrain
On the route toward Ecuador’s Sangay Volcano, severe weather brought blocked roads, gravel and deep mud. Intelligent XWD continuously adapted to the changing surface and supported the expedition through difficult conditions.

Comfort across changing climates
From the heat of Termas de Morales to cold Andean glaciers, the cabin provided a calm base for long-distance travel. Its carrying capacity accommodated photography, coastal tracking and camping equipment throughout the journey.

The expedition reflects JETOUR’s Travel+ approach: giving travellers the capability and confidence to explore further while remaining comfortable on the way.
